Why Bethel?

A strong network for people who need support Bethel is one of the largest charitable institutions in Germany and has been helping people with disabilities, mental or neurological illnesses and socially disadvantaged people for over 150 years. The organization offers not only medical care and residential facilities, but also vocational support and participation in working life. An important part of this is the workshops for people with disabilities, which provide them with meaningful employment and economic prospects.

Our support for Bethel – more than just words
The connection between TTL Network and Bethel goes far beyond a one-off donation. We are actively involved in various projects and initiatives:

Donations for a good cause:
We have already provided Bethel with financial support for a variety of projects, including funding for the construction of the new Bethel Children’s Hospital and targeted donations in kind for social projects such as the coastal protection program.

Cooperation with workshops for the disabled:
Some of our production and packaging processes are carried out in Bethel’s workshops. In this way, we promote the economic participation of people with disabilities and create meaningful jobs at the same time.

Work assignments as part of our Social Day:
2024 Our first TTL Network Social Day took place at Bethel’s Eicheneck workshop. Our team lent a hand – whether in the garden, in the kitchen or through joint activities with the people cared for there.

At TTL Network, the best ideas often come from the team – including our internal World Cup betting game. Some colleagues came up with the idea of organizing a joint betting game for last year’s 2024 European Championships and donating the money raised to a good cause. It quickly became clear that the funds raised should go to a sustainable project.

From the idea to implementation

After a short vote, a donation was made to the Eicheneck workshop in Bethel. With the money raised, the facility was able to purchase a raised bed for the garden area, which will be integrated into the daily work of the people receiving care in future.

A sustainable contribution to the Eicheneck workshop

The raised bed has now been built and planted by Bethel staff. It now serves as a valuable addition to the facility’s garden and enables the residents to be actively involved in gardening. Growing their own herbs and vegetables creates a new activity and promotes the sustainable use of natural resources.

Why this is important to us

This project is a wonderful example of how social commitment can grow directly out of the team. It shows that responsibility is not limited to the company, but is borne by the people who make it up. As a family business, it is particularly important to us to support and promote such initiatives.
