The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our privacy policy set out below this text.

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find the operator’s contact details in the section “Information on the controller” in this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data that you enter in a contact form.

What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. If contracts can be concluded or initiated via the website, the data transmitted is also processed for contract offers, orders or other order enquiries.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the rectification or erasure of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
You can contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of data protection.

Where corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Our host(s) will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfil its/their performance obligations and will follow our instructions with regard to this data.

It is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in maintaining our content reliably and in delivering your enquiries securely. A data processing agreement has been concluded with the provider (see below).
Data processing on our behalf
We have concluded data processing agreements (Auftragsverarbeitungsverträge, AVV) for the use of the services named above. These are contracts required under data protection law which ensure that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Information, rectification and erasure
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us about this at any time. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
- If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, your interests and ours must be weighed against each other. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data – apart from its storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a member state.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Objection to advertising emails
We hereby object to the use of the contact details published as part of the legal notice obligation (Impressumspflicht) for sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam emails.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
Without your consent, this website does not set any cookies. The only thing stored in your browser (in what is known as local storage) is your decision in the “Privacy settings”, so that we do not ask you again every time you view a page. This storage is strictly necessary (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and contains only your choice and the time it was made.
Google Analytics cookies are only set if you select “Accept all”. The legal basis is then your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by opening “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page and selecting “Necessary only”; the analytics cookies are then deleted.
If you access other services via links on this website – for example our online shop at shop.ttl-network.de – their privacy notices apply there.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
Your details from the contact form and from the request for technical consultation are transmitted in encrypted form to our web server at Vercel, checked there and forwarded to our content management system at Mittwald, which delivers them by email to our mailbox (see “Hosting”). The details are not stored permanently on these servers. To protect against abusive mass-sent enquiries, a shortened check value derived from your IP address is kept for a maximum of ten minutes; your IP address itself is not transmitted to the content management system. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the forms (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to erase it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Enquiries by email, phone or fax
If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.
The data you send us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to erase it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
5. Analysis tools
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistics tools and other technologies into our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies and does not carry out any independent analyses. It only serves to manage and deliver the tools integrated via it. However, Google Tag Manager does record your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google’s parent company in the United States.
Google Tag Manager is only loaded after you have selected “Accept all” in the “Privacy settings”. Processing is carried out on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Google Analytics
With your consent, this website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables us to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. In doing so, we receive various usage data, such as page views, length of visit, operating systems used and the user’s origin. This data is assigned to the user’s respective terminal device; it is not assigned to a person. For this purpose, Google Analytics uses cookies (in particular “_ga” and “_ga_<identifier>”, storage period up to two years). The information collected is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google Analytics 4 does not store complete IP addresses.
We use Google Consent Mode: advertising-related storage and signals (e.g. for personalised advertising) are deactivated; after your consent, only analytics storage is enabled. The data is automatically deleted after 14 months.
This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time (“Cookie settings” in the footer).
Data transfer to the USA is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission. The company is also certified under the “EU-US Data Privacy Framework” (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Details: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
6. Plugins and tools
YouTube with enhanced privacy
On the “Careers” page, we embed a video from the YouTube platform. The operator is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
The video is only loaded when you click on the preview image. Until then, no connection is established to YouTube’s servers; the preview image is hosted on our own server. A connection to YouTube is only established when you click. In doing so, YouTube learns which of our pages you have visited and receives your IP address. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your browsing behaviour to your personal profile. After the video has started, YouTube may store cookies or comparable technologies on your terminal device.
The legal basis is your consent given by clicking on the video (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG); the notice below the video points out the data transfer before you click. Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future by not starting the video again and deleting the cookies in your browser.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission; Google is also certified under the “EU-US Data Privacy Framework” (DPF). Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in its privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
7. Fonts
Locally embedded fonts
The fonts of this website are stored on our server and loaded from there. When the pages are accessed, no connection is established to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts).
