Frequently asked questions

How do you prevent signal dropouts on medical devices?
Locking connectors prevent signal dropouts due to movement or accidental disconnection – for example on HDMI and HDMI-to-DVI cables for image transmission between camera and monitor. Robust multiple screening and an EMC-resistant connector housing provide the EMC immunity required by medical environments – with data transmission up to 18 Gbit/s.
Are there isolators with 2 MOPP to IEC 60601-1?
Yes. For the medical electrical network, there are UL-certified RJ45 and USB isolators with galvanic isolation to IEC 60601-1 (2 MOPP). They protect sensitive devices from potential differences without impairing data transmission. We clarify which solution your device needs in the requirements analysis, based on your specifications and application requirements.
Which certifications apply to production?
Individual partners in our production network are certified to ISO 13485, among others – which certifications are available depends on the product, production partner and project requirements. Our production partners are audited as part of our supplier management. TTL Network GmbH itself is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Depending on project requirements, first article inspection reports (FAI reports) and retained golden samples safeguard the quality of your series in the long term.
