Frequently asked questions
- How do you protect measurement signals from interference and potential differences?
- Screened cable sets counter electromagnetic interference in production and the laboratory. Galvanic isolators protect sensitive devices from potential differences – without impairing data transmission: as RJ45 isolators in a keystone housing for Ethernet up to 10 Gbit/s and as USB isolators for devices connected to a PC, also for DIN rail mounting.
- Can the connectors withstand frequent re-plugging on the test bench?
- Mating cycle tests for durable connections are part of our mechanical testing. For network connections, there are screened Cat.6A field-installable connectors for more than 750 mating cycles. We select connectors to industry standard, as complementary types or as individual custom designs. Before series production, validation samples are built for testing in your specific application environment.
- How are cables marked on the test bench?
- To clearly identify every cable, we use labelling technology: printing, labels and laser engraving. The bulk cable itself can also carry clear and durable marking for easy identification. Marking follows your specifications, from small batches to large series – as a single cable, cable set or cable harness.
